This blog has been designed so that the Gr.8 class can keep a record of their robots during the unit. Students will post what each of their robots is supposed to accomplish, record any problems they may have encountered, and any pictures/videos.

We are about to enter the stage of the clapper so that it can pick up the ball, when we clap!
DEFINITION:
Is a robot built with lego peices and moves and grabs balls, theres a sound detecter, and a sight detector.
OPERATIONS:
sound detector : when you clap it moves, or when you tell it to do something like super speed.
light sensor: follows a line.
sight sensor: looks for the ball
brick: program everything to do.
grabers: grabs the ball.
APPLICATIONS:
Works on a peice of paper where it can follow a line, where you place the spot for the ball.
COMPONENTS/PARTS:
Sound sensor
Light sensor
Sight sensor
Brick
Grabbers
:)
OPERATIONS
cause and effect...
Our robot has a sight detector, its cause is because it needs to see the ball and follow the line,
Light sensor, we have this because it needs to sense the light around the black line so it can follow it.
Sound detector, this is on our robot because when we clap our hands it moves.
it has a grabber on it because the claws need to grab the ball off the stand.
the brick is really important because its the main operation of everything and its basically the programer.
We are now finished the robot we finished it a few days ago, and we just finished the explanation plan for our robot too!
